The world is not a contest Birds of a feather flock together Nothing to prove to the best Stop pulling dirty tricks on each other You can hate everyone You can hate everyone You can hate everyone And you will be the number one You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours The early bird catches the worm Sue a beggar, and catch a louse One bee makes no swarm You can hate everyone You can hate everyone You can hate everyone And you will be the number one You will not get any reactions Fortune favours the brave If you're happier with your actions People should get what they deserve You can hate everyone You can hate everyone You can hate everyone And you will be the number one You can hate everyone You can hate everyone You can hate everyone And you will be the number one

Drunken Hero 07:40
End of year, so much stuff Kill the switch was the hope Lose yourself, to lose yourself One last drink for the road Don't mess, little brother Give me your key, you can't drive Pretty girls, hot weather He got naked and he dived Boys, scraped and bloodied knees Are easier to heal Lose yourself, to lose yourself To lose yourself, to lose yourself Lose yourself, to lose yourself To lose yourself, to lose yourself Boys, scraped and bloodied knees Are easier to heal You made me promise that when you passed I would live I did answer you that when you passed I would try He laid down on the grass I gave him a glass of water There's no smoke without fire Man stay here, you're drunk it's real He took his beer, drunk it in one And then he got behind the wheel Boys, scraped and bloodied knees Are easier to heal You made me promise that when you passed I would live I did answer you that when you passed I would try You made me promise that when you passed I would live I did answer you that when you passed I would try You never drove at zero, drunken hero I truly begged you to stay I was supposed to be in your car that day Maybe you would have stayed awake You never drove at zero, drunken hero You never drove... please stay You wanted a pillow, you said your car below Would find itself the way

With the onset of winter See the bees disappear Blue tulips lose their petals Why are all your devils so high? Pain is not a life The flowers watered too much Can die before their time This is not your fault if you're scared This is not your fault if you can't cry Red sunsets lose their color The forest looks unclear Morpheus conquers your arms Why are all these alarms so loud? A storm is real prose It is hard to see further Than the tip of your nose This is not your fault if you're scared This is not your fault if you're scared Fault if you're scared You can beat me endlessly I will not fight back with you You can hurt me endlessly I will not fight back with you You can beat me endlessly I will not fight back with you You can hurt me endlessly I will not fight back with you You can beat me endlessly I will not fight back with you You can hurt me endlessly I will not fight back with you Dear spring, your smile is bitter See my dreams disappear Where did sunshine go after rain? Why are all your chains so hard? You've my best regards We did not deserve this Friendship is not a bane This is not my fault if you're scared This is not my fault if you can't cry

about

After all a bunch of thrilling adventures in different projects more incredible than each other, I decide to step back to mature an old dream of a solo project. Personal and introspective in my writing but also in my approach, I start recording a first EP by playing all the instruments and recording independently.

We are in June 2019. Learn to play and tune a drum kit, learn how to choose and place the mics, use a recording program, prepare a mix cession. Lots of help and advice. They lend me equipment, I have never been surrounded as much as by doing a project alone! Lots of test phases, my pre-prod is on its way. Try dozens of guitars in dozens of amps, find a sound for this project. Then learn to write with myself.

It's under constraint that we are most creative, and it is in integrity that we really find ourselves: set simple rules.
- Integrity will always have the last word
- Seek the present moment and the life of the song, keep the faults, no editing
- Doing something current in the background as well as in form will never be appropriate
- Each song can be played guitar-voice without being limited to this formula
- Everything will be played with fingers
- Pieces will fit on the play and not on heaps of arrangements
- Take time, live things, work in pleasure

The project is taking shape, the drum naturally takes an important place. I'm going to need a live drummer! Someone i know very well, someone with whom I can share these precious and personal things without restraint. Someone emotional. Jay Vonlanthen, a longtime friend, is the first person I think of, he accepts.

And let's mix this EP together! Step filled with many emotional moments, Jay works at lightning speed following the same rules: do not distort things, favor identity over efficiency, just like for the final mastering where Grégoire Pasquier from the Studio de la Fonderie goes through analog to color and let the sound live.

I don't really know what comes out of it. Need steps backwards, too many emotions invested.

I told what I had to say in all humility and I will take out this EP with my head held high.

Intelligence, sound design, music business or what we are supposed to do today do not interest me. I'm just going to share this project with the people who will be there. And I'm very lucky to have so many people around me.
